The Chartered Institute of Housing wanted to redefine how professionalism is demonstrated and recognised in the housing sector. They also wanted to improve the professional development routes and opportunities for their members. The initial challenge they faced was finding a way to convert various good internal ideas into a clear brief and roadmap to create, in turn, a digital platform to deliver a professional standards framework which would support personal development, deliver their strategic goals and develop professionalism. And once that had been delivered, how they would go about designing and developing such a platform and integrating it with all their existing technology which was also undergoing significant redevelopment at the same time.
